The Certified Utility Safety Professional certification program offers safety leadership credentials to utilities, related contractors and communication providers. As part of Beta’s ongoing commitment to safety initiatives and incident prevention, Mike Melder, Director of Safety and Construction, has completed CUSP certification requirements.
The two-tiered program offers employers assurance of an individual’s broad knowledge, skills and abilities in the utility work environment by providing a uniform standard for understanding utility safety regulations, competencies and task-related skills.
CUSP certified professionals are well prepared to lead others in safety, operations and incident prevention.
