Each year, Beta Engineering invests funds and volunteer time within our communities across the U.S., from local schools to national non-profits like The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). This September, the Southern Public Relations Federation (SPRF) recognized Beta Engineering with an Award of Excellence in the Tier Two: Community Relations & Public Service category of the Lantern Awards for their 2022 Light The Night fundraising campaign for LLS.
The SPRF Lantern Awards is an annual competition for PR professionals and organizations across the Gulf South, from Louisiana to northern Florida. This award program recognizes outstanding communication and public relations campaigns. A panel of PR professionals from a region outside of SPRF judges each entry and scores them based on demonstrated research, strategic planning, creativity and metric-driven results.
At the local level this spring, Beta also received the top-level Cypress Award from the Central Louisiana chapter of the Public Relations Association of Louisiana (PRAL), as well as an Award of Excellence in the statewide PRAL Torché Awards competition.
Beta has supported LLS's Light The Night fundraiser for more than a decade as both a corporate sponsor and team fundraiser. The Beta team is rallying again to support the cause again this year—and has already passed the halfway mark towards their fundraising goal of $25,000.
